Tile-Tape

DESCRIPTION

(Waterproof)

Patented PVC tight fibered cotton composite corner tape that is 2 ” wide, .013” thick and

comes in 100’ rolls.

Strait-Flex Tile Tape produces straight, strong and waterproof inside and outside corners.

Watertight seams and corners-Apply over fiber cement board or green board in wet areas

(tubs, showers, tile countertops, tub decks).

ADVANTAGES

 Straightens small framing irregularities.

 Spans over large voids.

 Will not cut or snag with notched trowel when applying tile setting compound.

 Inside and outside 90 º corners, and intricate off angles.

 Inside 90 º corners where a large fill or straightening is required, or where strength

and speed of finish are required.

Strait-Flex products are backed by a lifetime warranty. When applied to a sound structure,

built on a permanent foundation using recommended application techniques, we warrant that

DIRECTIONS

 Cut Strait-Flex to desired length. Adjust to desired angle.

 Apply using a liberal coat of all-purpose compound with joint knife. Use tile

setting compounds in wet areas.

 Press Strait-Flex into wet compound. Adjust if necessary to create straight line

and wipe down with joint knife. Immediately apply light skim coat and let dry.

 Apply final coat, let dry and sand.

STORAGE

Store in dry place protected from moisture.
